Cookies and device storage

CAMPBOX currently uses essential browser and device storage. No advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or optional analytics scripts are installed in the web app.

Essential device storage

Browser storage remembers your CAMPBOX device key, saved trip, preferences and dismissed prompts. This storage is required to make the current device experience work and does not require an advertising-cookie banner.

Authentication

If you sign in, CAMPBOX uses essential secure session cookies to keep your account connected. They are not used for advertising or tracking.

Maps and external links

Campsite maps are loaded from OpenStreetMap. Visiting a campsite website or another external link takes you to that provider, whose own storage rules then apply.

Managing storage

You can clear CAMPBOX site data through your browser settings. This may remove locally saved trip information and require you to sign in again.
